GR-1224-6445,  Colt M-1849 Pocket with 6 inch barrel, .31 cal, 6 shot, #246xxx, matching on the barrel, lever, frame, trigger-guard, back-strap, cylinder, wedge and cylinder pin. Numbers match everywhere I can see it. Gun was made in 1863. Cylinder scene is excellent, 95%+ Crisp scene with flashes of original blue in the cylinder stops. The frame retains about 70% case colors that are slightly toned in a few places. There are strong flashes of original case color on the lever and hammer too. The grips retain 90% original varnish. The barrel retains about 50% original blue. The action is crisp and tight. The bore is excellent. Traces of silver on the brass.  A very handsome gun, fine plus overall.
