$1,600.00

GR-0424-6061, Transitional Remington New Model Army. The gun has Old Model Features, 1858 barrel address but no “New Model” in the barrel address. It also has the early, more matte like blue finish. Serial number 19xxx matches on the barrel and frame. There is a number on the back of the cylinder and it does not match. It is not uncommon for Remingtons to have a mismatched cylinder. The brown patina on the cylinder matches that brown patina color on the frame, I have not question that the cylinder has been with this gun for a very long time. The barrel and load lever have about 75% original blue finish. The frame has maybe 5%-10% original blue and there are only traces of original blue on the cylinder. The bore is bright and shiny, crisply rifled with a few very fine spots. Fine bore. The mechanics are crisp and tight.
