GR-0325-6510, Remington Old Model Army. Serial number 36xx with overall dark chocolate patina. The rammer has an original slot on the top. The cylinder pin end is broken off. Faint cartouche on the left grip and a large piece missing on the right grip. It is about ½ wide loss at the widest. The hammer tip is chipped. The barrel address is clear with the correct 1861 date. The hammer is not holding cock or rotating the cylinder. The cylinder stop is engaged and holding the cylinder in place. The bore is mostly bright, the rifling looks crisp and there is some heavy scattered residue and scattered spots in the bore. Should clean better. The gun is in Good overall condition. It is a project piece if someone has the time and knows how to put it back together and fix it. It could also be a gun. Antique.
