GR79-1222-4361, Early Springfield TD Rifle, #48xxx, with all features of an early TD Rifle, thin wrist stock, smooth trigger, early sight, high arch breech, and unmarked barrel. Cartouche on stock, it appears to be ESA, it comes with an original sling. The breech block shows about 60% toned case color, overall the blue that remains on lock and trigger-guard, about 30%, about 15% on barrel, mostly protected places. Light wear and use marks to stock. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling. There is light residue scattered in bore, bore is very good as it is and looks like it will clean to fine condition. Fine overall, for an early gun, hard to find one complete and original like this.
